Looking forward to the read. bcVBS starts
VBS got off to a great start Wednesday evening. About 60 students and 45 workers have been in attendance the last two nights. Special thanks to all the workers for their flexibility last night. We experienced "half" a power outage just as VBS was getting started. This resulted is no a/c in two of our three buildings and only half the lights working in those same two buildings. At this time power has yet to be fully restored, but I have been assured by the power company that we will be up and running before we begin tonight. Thanks again everyone!
Ryan takes pastorate at CFC
Today we said goodbye to Ryan, Libby and the kids. It was their last Sunday to be in worship with us. Ryan has taken the pastorate at the Community Fellowship Church in Paragould. We are very happy for Ryan and Libby and wish them the best in this new ministry opportunity. They have served the Lord well during their time with us and we are grateful for their service. Our thoughts and prayers go with them. May God's Richest Blessings Continue to be Yours.
Verleen Brown dies
Our thoughts and prayers are with Marion 'Pop' Brown. He lost his wife, Verleen, of 12 years this past Saturday night. Her memorial service was this afternoon. Verleen was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed in her community.
Eric & Julia Wedding
Congrats to Eric & Julia. It was a beautiful wedding. May you have many happy years together Mr. & Mrs. Baker. A big thank you to all involved in making this a special day for them.
